Mauku Updated for OS2008

I’m really pleased to announce that Mauku has been updated to run on the new OS2008. Jonathan Greene over at MaemoApps.com has been testing it and has some visual aids so you can see what the fuss is all about. This is one of my favorite apps on the Internet Tablet, and I’m really excited to see the developer so proactive about updating it.

Mauku is a Jaiku application that allows you to keep track of your Jaiku lifestream on your Internet Tablet. It very handily opens a new window when you open a thread to comment, and supports icons as well. You can change the auto-update time to be as often or rare as you wish.

Here’s the official install link. If you’re one of few people rocking the N810, or somehow an N800 with the OS2008 installed, note that there are still a few bugs, but they are being addressed. If you’re rocking the N800 with older firmware, or the 770, you can head over to the developer’s homepage to get your version.
