Nokia N810 In Stock At Flagship Stores

N810 Internet TabletIt’s finally here. The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet is finally available to the public for purchase. While there hasn’t been an official announcement by Nokia (which is strange), User prk60091 on InternetTabletTalk.com forums received a call this morning from the Nokia Flagship Store in Chicago, letting him know that the Nokia N810 was ready for him to pickup. He was able to put his name on a waiting list a while back to get the device as soon as it was available.

If you’re not familiar, the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet was announced a little over a month ago in San Francisco to much fanfare. This update to the N800 Internet Tablet adds built-in GPS, an enhanced display that’s readable in sunlight, and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

It also features the new OS2008 firmware, which will be made available for users of the N800 Internet Tablet, as well. This new OS2008 has been enabled to install on the N800 early, and I’ve gone ahead and put it on my N800, and will have videos up soon showing you every aspect I can.

In the meantime, head on over to one of the Nokia Flagship Stores in Chicago or NYC and pick up the new N810 Internet Tablet. As of this writing, it is not available online through Nokia.com, but expect a more complete rollout in the coming week.
