Canola2, one of the most popular media player applications for the Nokia Internet Tablets, has recently been updated to Canola 2 Beta 2. I’ve been playing with it over the past few hours and found that I really like it. It works great in the car, which is important, in my opinion, since the Nokia N810 comes with a car mount included in the package.

Mostly this update is a ton of bug fixes, but they’ve also added a few new features, such as new media formats supported, as well as a fix for 770 owners. You can click on this install link, followed by this one if you don’t have Canola installed already, or you can simply go into your Application Manager and click on the ‘Check For Updates‘ button to get the updated version. Make sure you reboot your Internet Tablet after the upgrade is complete.
