Part of the fun of electronic devices with beautiful displays is using custom backgrounds to personalize your toy and show off to friends and ungeeks. Ty, developer of iTablet, is notorious for creating perfectly sized images from his travels, for use on the Nokia Internet Tablets, and we here at Tablet-Guru have been known to offer up tons of backgrounds now and again. However, I found one yesterday that I really wanted to share, and also highlight a few nice ones that Ty posted over the weekend.

This ‘Geek’ image was found on Interfacelift.com, which is a treasure trove of background images of all sorts, and in a dizzying array of sizes. I’ve also uploaded a huge collection to the Nokia Internet Tablet Backgrounds set on my Flickr account, for your enjoyment.

*I’ve been asked (very politely) to not host the images here, as they are still the personal property of the owners. However, Interfacelift is a free resource, and I’ve asked them to add an Internet Tablet-sized image option, for us Tablet owners. I’ve been told that we should start seeing these appear on the newer images.*
